White Barrister Bookshelf

Put this white Barrister Bookcase to traditional use by filling it with books. Or, consider each level a mini room box and add 1/144 scale furniture like Staff Miniaturist Phoebe did for our “in use” photo. Each door pivots up and slides back to reveal the 1" high storage space. Wooden with acrylic panes. The painted white finish provides an updated look to a classic style.

Staff miniaturist Phoebe Martin turned the Barrister Bookcase (#55432) into a mini stack of room boxes. Then she constructed and moved in Emily's Tiny 7-Pc. Furniture Kit (#7138). Installing an LED light (Five 1.8mm LED Warm White Wired Lights, #15161) on each shelf brings the scene to life. The Furniture and Lights are not included as part of the Deal but are sold separately.

Crafting tip: To install the lights, drill a small hole along where each shelf meets the back wall from inside towards the back of the bookcase. Do this just as you would a life-size room box. Thread the two wires per light through each hole from front to back. Then, cover each shelf with masking tape (as if it were a shelf liner) to conceal the wires and hold each light in place. Follow the instructions that come with #15161 to finish the wiring on the back of the bookcase.
