Four Holiday Gift Guides For The Minis In Your Life

Posted by Kara Deason on 15th Dec 2016

As the Christmas and Chanukah holidays quickly approach, it seems that just about every retailer has created a Holiday Gift Guide with ideas by personalities and/or hobbies as to what to get the loved ones on your shopping list. We thought it’d be fun to take a spin off of the Holiday Gift Guides and imagine our own for the mini world! So, we present to you, Four Gift Guides for the Minis in your Life.

#1 Gifts for the Gardener

Whether big or mini, we know that gardening is one of the top hobbies in the U.S. So, we didn’t have any trouble finding great miniature gardening gifts ranging from a potting table to rubber garden boots to a variety of helpful gardening tools.

#2 Gifts for the Chef

While gardening may have the strong hold on the top hobby spot in the U.S., cooking and baking surely aren’t too far behind. Even 1/12 scale chefs need a new set of pots and pans, mixing bowls, sharp knives, and of course, the holy grail, a stand-up mixer.

#3 Gifts for the Techie

Clearly the age of the smart technology is upon us, and all of our smart devices have been getting smaller and smaller and now, in miniature. Notebooks no longer mean bound paper, Tablets aren’t made of stone, and the Big Screen isn’t just at the theater any longer. Here are a few tiny tech gifts for a miniature techie to unwrap.

#4 Gifts for the "Maker"

And finally, the “maker movement” has really taken off with platforms such as Etsy and Pinterest to help spread the word about projects, but we all know that the original “makers” are the miniaturists who have perfected the art of “making” for much longer than the current trend, and in much smaller proportions! So, we gathered some tiny tools that the creative types typically use, such as Craft Paint, Paint Brushes, and a Craft Station, that might make their little holidays happy.

We hope you enjoyed imagining a holiday gift guide in miniature along with us. Now, if you haven’t finished, get back to shopping for the human-sized people on your list – there’s only 9 more days until Christmas! Happy Holidays!
