Gun Metal Spotlight, Battery-Operated

This gleaming gun metal finish high-quality metal light moves a little to adjust spotlight direction. It is preinstalled with a 3V lithium replaceable button battery. Turning this light on and off is easy with the little switch on the battery case. The replaceable CR1632 battery will last up to 50 hours. The non-replaceable low-heat LED elements will burn for at least 4,000 hours. Installation is simple with the on board magnet and magnetized base.

Battery operated lights, especially those that use a magnetic mount, can be heavy, and are therefore best attached to a wall or ceiling in a permanent or semi-permanent manner. A solvent-based glue or an epoxy will create a permanent attachment. Drilling a hole in the magnet and screwing the magnet to the wall or ceiling will create a semi-permanent attachment. It is semi-permanent in that the screw and magnet can be removed leaving behind only a small hole.
