This gleaming antique gold-finished high-quality metal light with a pink tulip shade is preinstalled with a 3V lithium replaceable button battery. Turning this pink Marion battery-operated LED desk lamp on and off is easy with the little switch on the battery case. The replaceable CR1632 battery will last up to 50 hours. The non-replaceable low-heat LED elements will burn for at least 4,000 hours.

Battery operated lights, especially those that use a magnetic mount, can be heavy, and are therefore best attached to a wall or ceiling in a permanent or semi-permanent manner. A solvent-based glue or an epoxy will create a permanent attachment. Drilling a hole in the magnet and screwing the magnet to the wall or ceiling will create a semi-permanent attachment. It is semi-permanent in that the screw and magnet can be removed leaving behind only a small hole. -
