Crafty extras:
The vestibule is 4" x 10 1/2", made of 3/8" MDF for the base (to match the main structure)
The walls are thin plywood and the roof is mat board.
The chimney is made of foam core, it is hollow and is 1 1/2" deep by 3" wide at the base tapering evenly to 2" wide at the top. It is 19" tall. No cuts were made to the roof of the main structure, all added pieces were notched as necessary to fit.
The door frame is from a #5014 Palladian Working Window and the door was made up of glued-together 1/8" x 3/8" strip wood.
The left front window opening was widened to receive a #50610 15-light Non-Working Window (installed from the inside).
The side window is from the #2121 Component Set, shortened to nine lights and installed from the inside."
