Last summer, Christopher used the sundeck of the the Get-Away Chalet to showcase the Kit for the Pair of Lounge Chairs. Now he has repurposed it to introduce the new Outdoor Armchair, Bench and Coffee Table Kits and it is as chic as ever!
Crafty extras:
The chair and bench cushions were made with 1/4" foam, quilting cotton, and tacky glue. For a finished look, 1/2" wide fabric strips are folded, pressed, and tacky glued around each cushion.
The decorative pillows were made with quilting cotton. Create a template using card stock. These are 1-3/4" cushions. Trace the template on the wrong side of the quilting cotton. With right sides of the quilting cotton together, stitch on the line with a small stitch length. Start and stop sewing, leaving an opening big enough to turn inside out. Trim your seam allowance to 1/4" and clip the corners close to the stitching. Turn, press, andfill with your choice of material.
