The Allison Jr Dollhouse with addition

About This Scene:

by Kim P.
While I was initially drawn to and love the Victorian style homes, when choosing this dollhouse I was looking for a dollhouse kit that I could modern both inside and outside. My vision for this house was to make a modern house with the "owners" being a modern professional couple. I especially wanted to ensure the walls were movable to allow enough room for a nice size dining room which mimics the colors of my dining room, a modern kitchen, a game room for him and a craft room for her. In the craft room, I've even put my favorite logo on the wall which is on the wall in my craft room (Live2Craft2Live). Outdoors, I wanted the housing structure color to be soft but still stand out with the accent color to highlight the different levels and dimensions. The landscaping, I wanted it to be clean, neat and simple as to not compete with the trim work and accent color. I wanted the grass to look natural. I wanted to put a deck on the back of the house off the kitchen and felt it was only accurate that the house have a HVAC unit on the side, which I made out of an old pipe sensor.
