About This Scene:
Our friend Morgen Bearse’s inspiration for this scene was moody maximalism, or a “more-is-more” style. She imagined a Victorian woman who loved nature and beautiful things. This woman wanted to surround herself with items that brought her joy: bats, black cats, ravens, beetles...all things nature. The art is dark in color but the theme is not dark—florals were added for a pop of color and a touch of softness.
