Crafty extras:
The bushel basket next to the door was made by following a tutorial from Kris Compas.
The corn stalks are slender bamboo skewers with glued-on leaves cut from natural raffia and some unraveled twine for the tip.
The fall leaves are made with a leaf-shaped craft punch using colored tissue paper. For best results with very thin paper, punch several layers at once. Leaves in the basket are glued on top of tissue filler; in the Rustic Washtub, leaves are glued to grape stems.
