Crafty extras:
Chairs were sponge-painted (to avoid brush marks) with warm, dark red followed by dark brown antiquing glaze. Nailheads highlighted with gold Sharpie marker.
“Throw” is a scrap of material, dampened, pleated and pressed into place and allowed to dry.
To add height, the tree is on a Large Tapered Planter, painted silver. The tree’s base edge is covered with a strip of gold paper.
